So something’s taking shape in front of me
But now my heart is nearly out of my chest,
Thumping in eagerness for Christflame majesty,
Flaming forth in you my wild-worst best.
The pang is real when a heart is exploding
Wails to triumph in a lover’s earth arms,
Longing in each each leaf, tree, poem seeking
Incarnate bliss inanimate close charms.
A flame is bursting forth in passion unsubdued
For you the one whose reception will last
Until the faces of all men have been agued.
And the Savior’s reign has come in too fast.
You wait for what adventure holy day?
Only dragon’s venom can this heart stay.
