To Catholic Trump Supporters, And the Ones Who Were Hurt By Them

In case you were still thinking Trump was some kind of savior, I would just like to point out to you that he is actively trying to overturn a vote that has been proven fair. For all of the times you have advocated how amazing America is, your man is actively attempting to destroy everything that makes us what we are. In case that wasn’t enough for you, I would also like to point out that he is rushing federal executions. That means, he is rushing to kill people before he leaves office. Catholics do not believe in the death penalty. Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, his nazi followers are wreaking havoc across the country. All of that doesn’t even begin the thousands of people dying every day.

Remember when you said if we lost we would burn America down?

I cannot read the news because what your side is doing is historical and horrifying and I tremble if I read even a few of the horrible things they are saying.

Is it enough now? Is it enough for you to wonder if maybe you put a monster in charge of us?

Is it enough for you to question whether maybe you are not always right?

Or are you still burying your head in the sand and pretending that all of this is somehow justified.

For those of you who are as lost in the anger as I am, I have been finding solace in prayer, especially the kind of prayer that Ke$ha taught us after the Hell she went through with her manager. One day I hope we have the emotional space to pray this way.
