Advice from the Grave

Have mercy on your reader-
Was it Kurt Vonnegut 
who yelled at me 50 years ago?
Was I being too cryptic?
If I keep my secrets 
do you just stop looking?
What makes us search for meaning
when something is confusing,
or drop it because
its not worth it?
Is it because I’m not worth searching
or is it because 
I have degree in this
(well almost) 
but maybe it’s confusing 
before I think it is?
